The Traymore is a very special health care facility for gracious clientele. Compared to a 'European Bed & Breakfast in the Park Cities,' each resident is pampered with personalized service.

The Traymore is a very special health care facility dedicated to providing the finest care and service in a warm residential setting. Described as a "European Bed & Breakfast" by our clientele and families, each resident receives personal attention. Attention to detail in the same way you would treat a guest in your home.

Our reputation is based on two major assets: a superb stable staff who provides 24 hour skilled nursing personalized to each resident's needs and our gracious setting. When touring The Traymore, you will notice residents attractively dressed for the day. Our therapy department, offering physical, occupational and speech therapies by doctors' orders is busy treating residents to perhaps return home, or long term residents who may then graduate to restorative nursing care. Whatever the health needs may be, residents are treated with dignity and respect and allowed to "age in place" never needing to leave The Traymore should there be a decline in condition. Hospice services are even available for those who may be terminally ill.

If you tour on a Sunday, you will see a dining room full of guests for lunch (served restaurant-style with crisp linens) in addition to our residents. Many families and friends dine with the residents as our "scratch" kitchen is well known for exceptional food and home-made desserts and breads. Special diets are easily accommodated and supervised by our Nutritionist. In addition to scheduled activities seven days a week, residents are accompanied on weekly outing within the community, whether out to eat at a local restaurant, the Symphony, Arboretum or to the movies. A wheelchair accessible bus allows us to take all who desire to go. Non-denominational church services are held in house each Sunday as well as Bible Study during the week. An in-house Beauty and Barber Salon offers complete services including pedicures!

Located in the Park Cities, The Traymore is easily accessible to all major hospitals. In addition, for those who qualify and require post-hospital care, The Traymore has a limited number of Medicare certified Part A beds. You never have to worry about a facility who is managed as a "cookie cutter" of a large chain as The Traymore is privately owned by John Neill and Steve Rush, who live in the Park Cities. Our small size allows us to pamper our residents and become acquainted with all family members and they with us. Suites, private and semi-private accommodations boast a tasteful monochromatic color scheme to compliment the blend of residents' personal furnishings if they desire.
