Runningwater Draw Care Center, Inc. is a non-profit, self-incorporated nursing facility operated and managed by a local 10-member volunteer board of directors. Not affiliated with a corporate group, hospital or tax-based source, our 75-bed facility offers a variety of services for long term care including Medicare skilled, Medicaid and Hospice services.
Nursing:
Our nusrsing staff is a highly diverse group from a variety of nursing backgrounds, which allows for a wide variety of experience. However, all share the common aspect of having the compassion and heart needed to care for our residents.
Whether it is short term therapy, or a longer stay that is needed, the nurses assess each resident's needs using a holistic approach and work with they physicians, physical, occupational, or speech therapies, social services or families as needed to provide care and help to reach about their medications, diet, the disease process, and taking care of themselves. We also work with our resident's family to achieve a common goal - the highest quality of life for the loved one. But more than that, we develop close relationships and become like a part of the family, praying with them and loving them to the best health possible.
