Physical Therapy
PSNF’s physical therapists treat residents for a wide range of disorders. Establishing an individualized treatment program to achieve total rehabilitation of the resident to their highest level of functional independence.
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
PSNF’s speech pathologists diagnose and treat speech and swallowing disorders in the residents which effect their ability to communicate and/or their nutritional intake. Treatment programs are designed in consultation with family members and other related professionals We offer the VitalStim Therapy Unit, which is a physician-ordered devise to be used by a licensed professional, certified in the use of the device. It is a new medical breakthrough use in the treatment of swallowing disorders.
Occupational Therapy
PSNF’s occupational therapists evaluate and treat problems which interfere with the activities of daily living. Occupational therapists perform such services as designing, fabricating and applying splints, as well as providing training in the use of adaptive equipment.
