Matlock Place is a new 120 bed facility offering skilled nursing care and rehabilitation health care in the South Arlington area. We are a "smoke-free facility" and your comfort and health are our most important priorities. Our beautiful rooms are vibrantly decorated and adorned with wood furniture to create a more relaxing and soothing living environment and promote a positive attitude. We also provide numerous opportunities for socialization including spacious day rooms, a large dining area, courtyard, and even a full service beauty salon. Our Social Services Director will help you determine what items you may bring from home to make your stay more comfortable. The following are the services we provide at Matlock Place Health and Rehabilitation Center in order to meet all your needs.

Nursing services
24 hours a day, 7 days a week we provide skilled nursing services to our residents. Our nursing services include wound care, diabetes management, respiratory care and treatment, and enteral feeding. Registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses and certified nurse aides provide care to help each resident reach his/her goals.

Therapy services
Our bright and spacious Therapy department is well equipped and staffed with our own employees who provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy to get you or your loved one back to the most independent condition possible.

Dietary services
Our Dietary Manager has many years of experience in providing meals that should exceed your expectations. We provide variety in our menus and serving time where possible, and strive to satisfy each resident's preferences as ordered by the physician.

Social services
We believe in helping our residents enjoy life to the fullest. Our Social Service department helps patients, residents and their families adjust to the facility, assist in solving any challenges and provide counsel in discharge planning. They may arrange for home health services and adaptive equipment prior to discharge home.

Physician Services
At Matlock Place your physician will follow and direct the medical care of you or your loved one. Our Medical Director is there to support your physician and assist as needed. He will also attend our Quality Assurance meetings along with other consulting physicians from time-to-time to oversee physician services.

Activities
Residents at Matlock Place enjoy a wide range of activities developed to meet their needs. These activities include exercise programs, social and recreational activities, arts and crafts and trips outside of the facility. Our new volunteer program is something that we would like you to consider being a part of.
