Grace Presbyterian Village is a continuing care retirement community founded in 1962 and located on 27 beautiful wooded acres in Oak Cliff. We are a member of Dallas-based Presbyterian Communities and Services, a not-for-profit organization, and we pledge to enrich the lives of those we serve by providing exceptional care and services in a faith-based culture. Our wide range of services includes residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and Alzheimer's and dementia care. Our programs and services are available to persons without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, or disability.
We have been blessed to form relationships with organizations throughout our community, including partnerships with area universities, volunteer groups, and churches of various denominations. These affiliations help us make Each Moment Matter.
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation:
Consistently ranked among the best in the state by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), Grace provides a full range of nursing care to meet your various needs. Respite services are also available for individuals who need temporary services.
Our skilled nursing is provided by a hand-selected team of health care professionals who provide compassionate care consistent with our high standard of excellence.
Services and Amenities
The following Services and Amenities are included in the monthly fees:
* 24-hour nursing care
* Housekeeping services
* Three meals per day
* All utilities paid, except personal phone and cable TV
* Recreational, social, and spiritual enrichment
* Laundry services
Services available for additional fees:
* Beauty and barber services
* Supplemental supplies in compliance with physician orders
* Guest meals
Certified Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
Grace has developed a unique continuum of care that serves residents across all stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. We honor the uniqueness of all our residents, and work to help them maintain independence, dignity, and a sense of personal purpose through individualized plans of care and opportunities to:

* Interact with their community
Care Residences
Our three distinct care residences provide the amenities, level of care, and life enrichment opportunities specific to residents with early, moderate, or advanced symptoms. These innovative, nationally-recognized environments include secure settings designed with period decor and appliances, providing patients with familiarity, peace, and comfort.
Life Enrichment Program
Our theme-based Alzheimer's and Dementia Life Enrichment Program is designed to improve our residents quality of life by keeping remaining memories engaged. It includes activities and events such as:
* Brain fitness
* Art and culture discussions
* Connecting with the community
* Cooking classes
* Residence social events and parties
* Musical programming
* Dance and movement
* Gardening club
* The Jewels of Grace (women's group)
* The Brown Derby Club (men's group)
These opportunities are carefully prepared to be rewarding and appropriate for participating residents.
